In 2019, I earned my Bachelor of Music Education.

In 2020, COVID-19 hit and I lost my form of employment. I turned to writing and started freelance writing blogs for $10.00 an hour.

I have since drifted in and out of teaching and music, but have always returned to writing. After teaching both publicly and privately and freelancing on the side, I finally made the leap to a full-time career writer.

I hope this blog can be a place for me to share my experience with any wannabe writers like my younger self. It definitely takes a lot of work, and a little luck, but you don’t have to strike it big with your first book deal to earn the title of “Writer.”
